Who this covers
This policy applies to the AdVelocity website and to enquiries sent through it. AdVelocity is a lead generation and digital advertising business based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
What gets collected
The contact form asks for your first name, last name, business name, email address, phone number, website, industry, service interest and message. Only the fields marked required have to be filled in. Everything you enter is sent to AdVelocity by email so that your enquiry can be answered.
The form also records how long the page was open before submission. This is a spam check and nothing else.
Your web server may keep standard access logs, which typically include IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested. Those logs are kept by the hosting provider and are used for security and troubleshooting.
Why it gets collected
To reply to your enquiry, to understand what you are asking about, and to have the conversation you started. Your details are not sold, rented or traded.
Booking a call
The booking button opens a Google Calendar appointment page. Anything you enter there is handled by Google under Google’s own privacy terms, not by this website.
Fonts and third parties
This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives the request in the normal way that any web request is received. No other third party service is embedded in these pages at the time of writing.
If website analytics or advertising measurement is added later, this policy will be updated to say so before it is used.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies of its own for tracking or advertising. If that changes, a notice and a choice will appear before any such cookie is set.
How long it is kept
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as they are useful for the conversation and for ordinary business records, then deleted. You can ask for your enquiry to be deleted at any time.
Your choices
You can ask what has been stored about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email sales@advelocity.net and it will be handled.
Security
Reasonable steps are taken to protect the information sent through this site. No website can promise perfect security, and this one will not pretend otherwise.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
